Dusted at Egg with Strictly Left July 2006

It’s almost unbelievable to believe that the Egg is in the middle of London. As we walked along York Way, it almost seemed like a motorway and there were echoes of “Are you sure it’s down here?” or “I don’t remember this”… we then found out the group of lads following us also had no idea and thought we knew where we were going! However, we found the Egg safe and sound to be welcomed by the lovely Nat on the door.

Some of the people in my party had not experienced this club before and with the fantastic beats from Dusted there were many there were many comparisons to Ibiza encounters. Watching the sun come up in the garden was one of the best parts of the night out.

Strictly Left’s loft was a popular space, there was constantly good music by the DJs who played including DJ Trigga. This man was a social animal as he roamed the club saying hi to clubbers and generally smiling, if he wasn’t dropping fantastic tunes!

Trying to decide where to dance was probably the worst thing about this event. All the spaces were so tempting it was difficult to decide what to do! It was like each room had a magnet effect pulling you inside!

It was a busy night and the crowd who joined us were excellent people, everyone seemed to make an effort to look funky and high fashion. We met some really friendly folks and it was interesting to see how many people had come from further a field. This event was definitely a crowd puller.

It seems things can only get better for Dusted, Saturday was one of the busiest nights for Serious’s sister night yet.
